  • Education and consultation for Alberta professionals working in child and adolescent addictions and mental health through Alberta Health Services

• Mental Health Online Resources for Educators

  • Free web-based, online modules intended for school staff in Alberta working with children and adolescents in ECS to Grade 9. Current issues in child and adolescent mental health are explored. Presenters are from education, family medicine, nursing, pediatrics, pharmacy, psychiatry, psychology, and social work. Each module is open online for one month and is available anytime, anywhere via the Internet. The objectives are to increase school staff's skills and confidence to address their students' mental health needs more effectively and to promote linkages among school staff and professionals treating children’s mental health problems.​​

• Children’s Mental Health Learning Series

  • The Children’s Mental Health Learning Series provides caregivers, families and professionals with helpful information to increase knowledge and help support children and youth with mental health concerns. The first nine sessions focused on early brain development and environmental impacts in the early years.

• The FASD Learning Series

  • This free webinar series helps individuals with FASD and their caregivers learn more about FASD and how to support a person with FASD. The webcast and videoconference educational sessions cover a broad range of topics that target both urban and rural audiences.
